Just around the corner in Puerto Vallarta is the annual culinary event known as PV Restaurant Week. The 17th edition of PV Restaurant Week starts on September 15th and lasts through October 10th. Many of the top restaurants in Banderas Bay, Riviera Nayarit, and Puerto Vallarta will be participating with special menus at discounted prices. The Vallarta Lifestyles Media Group, the Public Trust for the Promotion and Tourist Advertising of PV along with the Riviera Nayarit Conventions & Visitors Bureau will be supporting this year’s restaurant week. 2021 PV Restaurant Week
PV Restaurant Week first started in 2004, and has become a fantastic way for locals and vacationers to try some of the best foods at the top restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. The restaurants that will be participating will design 3-course menus, then offer them at a special price. The best and most popular restaurants will be participating in this event. The Cristaleria del Pacifico and the Vinoteca Company are two local companies that are sponsoring the 2021 PV Restaurant Week. The Cristaleria del Pacifico has 30 plus years in the business, and Vinoteca Company has 20 branches throughout Mexico. They opened a branch in 2015 in PV where they sell high quality wines and spirits that are imported from across the world.
2021 Participating Restaurants
Special menus will be created and they will be 3-course arrangements. Participating restaurants will offer menus that will cost 299, 399, and 466 pesos per person. Drinks and tips are not included in the discounted prices. The restaurants that will be participating this year are: Abbraccio Cucina Italiana, Arrecifes Seafood & Steakhouse, Azafran, Basilo Comer & Beber, Café des Artistes, Casa 449, Di Vino Dante, Eclecticos Restaurante & Bar, Hacienda San Angel Gourmet, IK Mixology Bar & Cuisine, Joe Jack’s Fish Shack, Kaiser Maximilian Restaurant & Café, La Cappella, La Leche, Le Kliff, Makal, Mikado, Opa Greek Bistro, Serrano’s Meat House, Sonora House, The Iguana Restaurant & Tequila Bar, and the Trattoria Di Nuova. Restaurants in Riviera Nayarit that are also participating include: LOMA 42 BAHIA, Mark’s Bar & Grill, Sabal Playa, Ocean Club & Casual Dining, Sandrina’s Cocina Mediterranean/Griega, Tuna Blanca & Venazu.
Implemented Safety Protocols
In addition, diners will be safe to enjoy a great meal despite the COVID-19 pandemic. All restaurants that are participating have added numerous sanitation and safety protocols. They will provide a space that will be safe, clean, and sanitized for diners to enjoy a delicious meal. Facemasks will be worn indoors, temperature checking, antibacterial gel, and social distancing will be required. We can all come together to enjoy a delicious meal and be safe, too.
