The park is also home to different events and festivals that are held on the large stage that is located at the edge of the park. Everyone in the family will love spending the day at Crococun, which is an interactive conservation zoo just 19 miles from downtown Cancun. The Crococun actually used to be a breeding farm, but the 1988 Hurricane Gilberto destroyed the farm and it was transformed into a crocodile protection zoo during the rebuilding process. Your day at the zoo will start off with an hour long tour, and you can even hold baby crocs and feed spider monkeys if you choose to do so. There is an open area where approximately fifty crocs are able to roam free, so if you like to live on the wild side, you can take your chances and pass through the open area, too.

Top Cancun Activities #4: Ventura Park


There isn’t nothing more refreshing than a water park for the family on vacation in Cancun during the hot summer months. The Ventura Park is in the Hotel Zone in Cancun and has different “Worlds” such as the Grand Prix, Fun World, Underworld, and many more. There are different packages that families can purchase, and some include free drinks and food for the whole day. The Bubble Space Bowl is often the children’s favorite as it drops you down a chute at speeds of up to 30 mph for a thrilling ride like no other. The Lazy River, Wave Pool, and the Kamikaze water slides are also very refreshing and relaxing as well. The park also has a roller coaster, go-karts, and zip lines. It opens at ten in the morning and closes at five thirty. 

Top Cancun Activities #5: All Ritmo Water Park


Another Cancun water park is the All Ritmo Water Park, which is located at the All Ritmo Resort, but the public can purchase tickets to this park in addition to resort guests. There is a water slide to meet every family member’s preferences. The admission fee includes food and drinks unlimited such as hotdogs, hamburgers, and nachos. You can even rent a towel for the day for a small fee if you forget yours.
